Pat Hanlon, Board Director for Access to Finance, GBSLEP, said:

“The launch of the first £120 million of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, created with our support, represents an important opportunity for small and medium sized enterprises in Greater Birmingham & Solihull and the wider Midlands who are looking for debt finance to start or grow their businesses.

“The LEP is committed to ensuring that all SMEs in Greater Birmingham & Solihull are able to tap into these funds and will make information and advice available to interested businesses via our GBSLEP Growth Hub. The LEP will also ensure the equity funds that are part of the overall investment fund are made available at the earliest opportunity.”
