SPRG Stage 1: Mapping existing development planning policy

The first stage of developing the Spatial Plan for Recovery and Growth began in late 2011 and involved the initial mapping of ongoing development planning work in the GBSLEP.

Delegates at the launch of the GBSLEP Planning Charter at the Arup Campus in Solihull.

This also saw the identification of the issues to be addressed by the work and details of the Planning Charter which has been endorsed by all the GBSLEP’s local planning authorities to provide a welcoming and business-friendly planning service.

The leaflet was launched at an initial visioning event held in February 2012 at Arup’s offices at Blythe Valley Business Park.
