There a total of seventeen directors: nine from the business community, eight from local authorities and one representing higher/further education.
The LEP is business-led, with a senior figure from the business community in the chair. Our first chairman is Andy Street, Managing Director of John Lewis.
Business Community representatives have been recruited with the aim of reflecting the geography of the area as well as different sizes and sectors of commerce and industry.
