Strategic Economic Plan 2016 – 2030
The GBSLEP Board is pleased to present our Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) 2016-2030 – A Greater Birmingham for a Greater Britain.
The SEP sets out our vision and strategy for delivering smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive growth for the benefit of our area, the wider West Midlands region and the UK as a whole.

Our SEP sets out how we will work together and with our partners to deliver economic growth throughout Greater Birmingham & Solihull, and in doing so, raise the quality of life for all our residents, visitors and businesses.
It sets out our ambition to become a top global city region by 2030 as well as the major driver of the UK economy outside of London. To do so, it focuses on the following strategic priorities:
This Plan has been developed in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders and partners on whom its successful delivery will depend.

The LEP Board is now focussed on developing the implementation plan, which will provide the roadmap for realising the ambitions in the SEP.
